SCHEDULE(Sections 2 and 3)

PART IDescription of Airport Reference Point

The airport reference point, shown on Thompson Airport Zoning Plan No. E.2647 dated June 7, 1988, is a point lying perpendicularly distant 91.45 m northwesterly from a point on the centre line of runway 05-23 distant southwesterly 655.52 m from the threshold of runway 23.

PART IIDescription of the Approach Surfaces

The approach surfaces, shown on Thompson Airport Zoning Plan No. E.2647, dated June 7, 1988, are surfaces abutting each end of the strips associated with the runways designated 05-23 and 14-32, and are described as follows:

  • (a) a surface abutting the end of the strip associated with runway approach 05 consisting of an inclined plane having a ratio of 1 m measured vertically to 50 m measured horizontally rising to an imaginary horizontal line drawn at right angles to the projected centre line of the strip and distant 15 000 m measured horizontally from the end of the strip; the outer ends of the imaginary horizontal line being 2 400 m from the projected centre line; said imaginary horizontal line being 300 m measured vertically above the elevation at the end of the strip;

  • (b) a surface abutting the end of the strip associated with runway approach 23 consisting of an inclined plane having a ratio of 1 m measured vertically to 50 m measured horizontally rising to an imaginary horizontal line drawn at right angles to the projected centre line of the strip and distant 15 000 m measured horizontally from the end of the strip; the outer ends of the imaginary horizontal line being 2 400 m from the projected centre line; said imaginary horizontal line being 300 m measured vertically above the elevation at the end of the strip;

  • (c) a surface abutting the end of the strip associated with runway approach 14 consisting of an inclined plane having a ratio of 1 m measured vertically to 20 m measured horizontally rising to an imaginary horizontal line drawn at right angles to the projected centre line of the strip and distant 2 500 m measured horizontally from the end of the strip; the outer ends of the imaginary horizontal line being 280 m from the projected centre line; said imaginary horizontal line being 125 m measured vertically above the elevation at the end of the strip; and

  • (d) a surface abutting the end of the strip associated with runway approach 32 consisting of an inclined plane having a ratio of 1 m measured vertically to 20 m measured horizontally rising to an imaginary horizontal line drawn at right angles to the projected centre line of the strip and distant 2 500 m measured horizontally from the end of the strip; the outer ends of the imaginary horizontal line being 280 m from the projected centre line; said imaginary horizontal line being 125 m measured vertically above the elevation at the end of the strip.

PART IIIDescription of the Outer Surface

The outer surface, shown on Thompson Airport Zoning Plan No. E.2647 dated June 7, 1988, is an imaginary surface located at a common plane established at a constant elevation of 45 m above the elevation of the airport reference point, except that, where that common plane is less than 9 m above the surface of the ground, the outer surface is an imaginary surface located at 9 m above the surface of the ground.

PART IVDescription of the Strips

The strips shown on Thompson Airport Zoning Plan No. E.2647 dated June 7, 1988, are described as follows:

  • (a) the strip associated with runway 05-23 is 300 m in width, 150 m being on each side of the centre line of the runway, and 1 888 m in length; and

  • (b) the strip associated with runway 14-32 is 60 m in width, 30 m being on each side of the centre line of the runway, and 822 m in length.

PART VDescription of Each Transitional Surface

The transitional surfaces, shown on Thompson Airport Zoning Plan No. E.2647 dated June 7, 1988, are described as follows:

  • (a) the transitional surface associated with runway 05-23 is a surface consisting of an inclined plane rising at a ratio of 1 m measured vertically to 7 m measured horizontally at right angles to the centre line and projected centre line of the strip and extending upward and outward from the lateral limits of the strip and its approach surfaces to an intersection with the outer surface or another transitional surface of an adjoining strip; and

  • (b) the transitional surface associated with runway 14-32 is a surface consisting of an inclined plane rising at a ratio of 1 m measured vertically to 5 m measured horizontally at right angles to the centre line and projected centre line of the strip and extending upward and outward from the lateral limits of the strip and its approach surfaces to an intersection with the outer surface of another transitional surface of an adjoining strip.

PART VIDescription of the Outer Limits

The boundary of the outer limits of lands, shown on Thompson Airport Zoning Plan No. E.2647 dated June 7, 1988, is described as follows:

COMMENCING at a point on the northeasterly limit of Block F, Plan 4856, Neepawa Land Titles, where it is intersected by the circumference of a circle having a radius of 4 000 metres and centred on the airport reference point as described in Part I of the Schedule;

THENCE southeasterly along the northeasterly limit of Block F to the southeast corner thereof;

THENCE southwesterly along the southeasterly limit of Block F to the southwesterly corner thereof;

THENCE southwesterly in a straight line to the most northerly corner of Mystery Lake Road as shown on Plan 768, Neepawa Land Titles;

THENCE southwesterly along the northwesterly limit of Mystery Lake Road to an intersection with the northeasterly limit of Plan 5164, Neepawa Land Titles;

THENCE northwesterly along the northeasterly limit of Plan 5164, Neepawa Land Titles, to an intersection with the circumference of a circle having a radius of 4 000 metres and centred at the Airport reference point as described in Part I of the Schedule;

THENCE westerly following the circumference of the said circle clockwise to the point of commencement.
