Whereas a public hearing in the town of Banff in relation to the boundaries thereof was held on August 31, 1989;
Therefore, Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of the Environment, pursuant to section 8.1Footnote * of the National Parks Act, is pleased hereby

(a) to fix the boundaries of the town of Banff in accordance with the schedule hereto, marked Schedule IV; and
(b) to add that schedule as Schedule IV to the National Parks Act.
SCHEDULE IV(Section 8.1)The Town of Banff
Banff National Park
All that parcel of land in Banff National Park in the Province of Alberta, shown as the town of Banff on Plan Number 72468 in the Canada Lands Survey Records at Ottawa, a copy of which is filed in the Land Titles Office in Calgary under Number LTO 8911788, said parcel containing 487 hectares, more or less.
