Order Exempting Certain Navigable Waters Located in Newfoundland and Labrador from the Application of Sections 22 and 23 of the Canadian Navigable Waters Act (SOR/2026-111)

Whereas the Minister of Transport has received an application to exempt the navigable waters listed in the schedule to the annexed Order from the application of sections 22Footnote ^a and 23Footnote ^b of the Canadian Navigable Waters ActFootnote ^c;

And whereas the Governor in Council is satisfied that this exemption would be in the public interest;

Therefore, Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Transport, makes the annexed Order Exempting Certain Navigable Waters Located in Newfoundland and Labrador from the Application of Sections 22 and 23 of the Canadian Navigable Waters Act under subsection 24(1)Footnote ^b of the Canadian Navigable Waters ActFootnote ^c.
