His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Finance, pursuant to subsection 531(1)Footnote a and section 539.14Footnote b of the Trust and Loan Companies ActFootnote c, hereby makes the annexed Exemption for Public Notices or Documents (Trust and Loan Companies) Regulations.

Interpretation
1 In these Regulations, Act means the Trust and Loan Companies Act.
Exemption Circumstances
2 For the purpose of section 539.14 of the Act, the prescribed circumstances are that the exemption does not prejudice any of the shareholders or the public interest.
Coming into Force
3 These Regulations come into force on June 1, 2011.
