Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Finance, pursuant to section 115Footnote a of the Customs TariffFootnote b, hereby makes the annexed Certain Ships Remission Order, 2010.

Remission
1 Remission of customs duties paid under the Customs Tariff is granted to the following:
(a) Algoma Central Corporation, St. Catharines, Ontario, in respect of the tankers Algonova and AlgoCanada; and
(b) British Columbia Ferry Services Inc., Victoria, British Columbia, in respect of the vessels Coastal Renaissance, Coastal Inspiration, Coastal Celebration and Northern Expedition.
Conditions
2 The remission is granted on the following conditions:
(a) the importer files all evidence that is required by the Canada Border Services Agency to determine eligibility for remission; and
(b) a claim for remission is made by the importer to the Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness within two years after the day on which this Order comes into force.
Coming into Force
3 This Order comes into force on the day on which it is registered.
