TO ALL TO WHOM these presents shall come or whom the same may in any way concern,

GREETING:

A Proclamation

Whereas the Parliament of Canada, by virtue of the Royal Style and Titles Act, 2023, which was assented to on June 22, 2023, assented to the issue by His Majesty of His Royal Proclamation under the Great Seal of Canada establishing for Canada a Royal Style and Titles;

Now Know You that We, by and with the advice of Our Privy Council for Canada and under Order in Council P.C. 2023-1234 of December 15, 2023, do by this Our Proclamation establish for Canada the following Royal Style and Titles:

Charles the Third, by the Grace of God King of Canada and His other Realms and Territories, Head of the Commonwealth.

Of all which Our loving subjects and all others whom these presents may concern are required to take notice and to govern themselves accordingly.

In testimony whereof, We have caused this Our Proclamation to be published and the Great Seal of Canada to be affixed to it.

WITNESS:

Our Right Trusty and Well-beloved Mary May Simon, Chancellor and Principal Companion of Our Order of Canada, Chancellor and Commander of Our Order of Military Merit, Chancellor and Commander of Our Order of Merit of the Police Forces, Governor General and Commander-in-Chief of Canada.

At the City of Ottawa, January 8, 2024, in the second year of Our reign.
