Order Removing the Customs Duties on Automotive Parts and Accessories Imported into Canada under an Agreement with the United States

Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Finance and the Minister of Regional Industrial Expansion, pursuant to section 62 of the Customs TariffFootnote *, is pleased hereby to make the annexed Order removing the customs duties on automotive parts and accessories imported into Canada under an agreement with the United States.

SHORT TITLE
1. This Order may be cited as the Automotive Parts Tariff Removal Order, 1988.
REMOVAL OF CUSTOMS DUTIES
2. The customs duties on all parts, and accessories and parts thereof, imported into Canada on and after January 1, 1988 under the Motor Vehicles Tariff Order, 1988Footnote 1 and subsequently exported from Canada after being processed or incorporated into assemblies in Canada, are hereby removed.
