20 For the purpose of paragraph 23(a) of the Act, a cooperative name that contains a word that is the same as or similar to a distinctive element of an existing trade-mark, official mark or trade-name and is confusing with the trade-mark, official mark or trade-name is prohibited, unless the person who owns the trade-mark, official mark or trade-name consents in writing to the use of the cooperative name, and the name is not otherwise prohibited.
