Order Fixing and Imposing Levies on, and the Collecting of Levies from, Producers in the Eastern Townships Region in the Province of Quebec With Respect to the Marketing of Wood in Interprovincial and Export Trade
The Eastern Townships Region Wood Producers’ Syndicate, pursuant to sections 3Footnote * and 4 of the Quebec Wood Order, 1983, made by Order in Council P.C. 1983-2885 of September 22, 1983Footnote **, hereby makes the annexed Order fixing and imposing levies on, and the collecting of levies from, producers in the Eastern Townships Region in the Province of Quebec with respect to the marketing of wood in interprovincial and export trade.

Short Title
1 This Order may be cited as the Eastern Townships Wood Producers’ Levies (Interprovincial and Export Trade) Order.
Interpretation
2 In this Order,
- Commodity Board
Commodity Board means the Eastern Townships Region Wood Producers’ Syndicate; (Syndicat)
- Plan
Plan means the Eastern Townships Region Wood Producers’ Joint Plan (R.R.Q. 1981, c. M-35, r. 25); (Plan)
- producer
producer means a producer who is subject to the Plan and engaged in the production or marketing of wood; (producteur)
- wood
wood means wood that is produced in the Eastern Townships Region and that is subject to the Plan. (bois)
Levies
3 Every producer shall pay to the Commodity Board, for all wood marketed in interprovincial and export trade, the applicable levies fixed or imposed in the following Regulations as amended from time to time:
(a) Règlement sur les contributions des producteurs de bois de l’Estrie (116, G.0. 2, p. 4559);
(b) Règlement sur le fonds de recherche et de protection des producteurs de bois de l’Estrie (R.R.Q. 1981, c. M-35, r. 22);
(c) Règlement sur le fonds de roulement du Syndicat des producteurs de bois de l’Estrie (117, G.0. 2, p. 6231); and
(d) Règlement des producteurs de bois de l’Estrie sur la contribution pour l’application des règlements de péréquation, d’exclusivité et de contingentement (123, G.0. 2, p. 3549).
Method of Collection
4 The producer shall pay all levies payable pursuant to section 3 to the Commodity Board at its headquarters in Longueuil, Quebec, within the time limits set out in the applicable Regulations referred to in that section.
