His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Finance, pursuant to subsection 60.3(3)Footnote * of the Customs Tariff, is pleased hereby to make the annexed Order specifying limits on the aggregate quantity of goods set out in subsection 60.3(2) of the Customs Tariff that are entitled to the benefit of the Mexico Tariff, effective on the day on which section 130 of An Act to implement the North American Free Trade Agreement, being chapter 44 of the Statutes of Canada, 1993, comes into force.

Short Title
1 This Order may be cited as the Mexico Fruit and Vegetable Aggregate Quantity Limit Order.
Aggregate Quantity Limit
2 Goods that are imported into Canada and classified under a tariff item, as set out in column I of an item of the schedule, are entitled to the Mexico Tariff for the period set out in column II of that item, if, on the day before the day on which the goods are released, the aggregate quantity limit set out in column III of that item for that period has not been reached.
