Gasoline Regulations

Version of section 7 from 2006-03-22 to 2008-04-17:

  •  (1) The concentration of lead in gasoline referred to in section 4 shall be measured in accordance with the National Standard of Canada method CAN/CGSB-3.0 No. 19.5-95, Methods of Testing Petroleum and Associated Products: Determination of Lead in Automotive Gasoline (Atomic Absorption), as amended from time to time.

  • (2) The average concentration of lead in leaded gasoline referred to in section 5 shall be determined by dividing the quantity of lead, expressed in milligrams, added to gasoline during the calendar quarter by the quantity of leaded gasoline, expressed in litres, produced during the same quarter.
