Frontier Lands Registration Regulations

11 (1) For the purposes of Part VIII of the Act, the court having exclusive original jurisdiction in respect of frontier lands situated in the offshore area as defined in section 5 of the Canada-Nova Scotia Oil and Gas Agreement Act is the Supreme Court of Nova Scotia.

(2) For the purposes of Part VIII of the Act, the Federal Court - Trial Division, the Court of Queen’s Bench of Alberta and the High Court of Justice of Ontario have concurrent original jurisdiction in respect of all frontier lands other than those referred to in subsection (1).
