10.3 (1) All rolling stock shall be fitted with a roof or other structure that protects the operator from exposure to any weather condition that is likely to be hazardous to his safety or health.

(2) Where heat produced by self-propelled rolling stock is capable of raising the temperature in the operator’s compartment or position to 29°C or higher, the compartment or position shall be protected from the heat by an insulated barrier.
