Regulations Respecting the Stabilization of the Price of Industrial Milk and Industrial Cream Delivered for Marketing during the Period Beginning on April 1, 1986 and Ending on March 31, 1987

Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Agriculture, pursuant to sections 8.2Footnote *, 10Footnote ** and 11Footnote *** of the Agricultural Stabilization Act, is pleased hereby to make the annexed Regulations respecting the stabilization of the price of industrial milk and industrial cream delivered for marketing for the period beginning April 1, 1986 and ending March 31, 1987.

Short Title

 These Regulations may be cited as the Industrial Milk and Cream Stabilization 1986-87 Regulations.

Interpretation

 In these Regulations, producer means a person who resides in Canada and produces industrial milk or industrial cream. (producteur)

Prescribed Price

 The prescribed price for industrial milk and industrial cream delivered for marketing for the period beginning on April 1, 1986 and ending March 31, 1987 is the amount obtained by adjusting 123.88 per cent of the base price thereof for that period by the factor of $0.56/cwt. as determined by the Board under paragraph 8.2(1)(a) of the Agricultural Stabilization Act.

Payment to Producers

 The Board may pay $287,000,000 to the Canadian Dairy Commission for the benefit of producers for the purpose of stabilizing the price of industrial milk and industrial cream at the prescribed price for industrial milk and industrial cream delivered for marketing for the period beginning on April 1, 1986 and ending March 31, 1987.
