  • 50 Section 3 of the Regulations Limiting Carbon Dioxide Emissions from Natural Gas-fired Generation of ElectricityFootnote ² is amended by adding the following after subsection (6):

    • Return to footnote ²SOR/2018-261

    • Non-application — Clean Electricity Regulations

      (7) These Regulations do not apply to a unit if it is subject to

      • (a) an emission limit under subsection 9(1) of the Clean Electricity Regulations; or

      • (b) an exemption, under subsection 14(1) of those Regulations, from the application of that subsection.
