Marginal note:Reporting of security incidents

682 A person referred to in section 678 must immediately notify the Minister if the person

• (a) detects a threat item in cargo while screening it in order that it may be tendered for transport by air as secure cargo;

• (b) detects unauthorized access to cargo in the person’s possession that is being screened or has been screened in order that it may be tendered for transport by air as secure cargo;

• (c) detects signs of tampering with cargo in the person’s possession that is being screened or has been screened in order that it may be tendered for transport by air as secure cargo; or

• (d) becomes aware of any other aviation security incident involving cargo that is or was in the person’s possession.
