His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Health, pursuant to section 37 of the Canada Consumer Product Safety ActFootnote ^a, hereby makes the annexed Candles Regulations.

1 These Regulations apply to the importation, advertising and sale of candles.

2 A candle must not reignite spontaneously after it is extinguished.
