22 External bulkheads and any part of a bulkhead that separates sleeping quarters from cargo and machinery spaces, galleys, storerooms, drying rooms or communal sanitary facilities must be constructed of steel or other materials approved under the Canada Shipping Act, 2001 and be watertight and airtight.
