Wage Earner Protection Program Regulations
Version of section 9 from 2016-09-30 to 2021-11-19:
9 An application for payment shall, unless circumstances beyond the control of the applicant justify a longer period, be made within 56 days after the latest of the following days:
(a) the date of the bankruptcy or receivership of the applicant’s former employer,
(b) the day on which the applicant’s employment ends for any of the reasons referred to in section 3, and
(c) the day on which the receiver terminates the applicant’s employment.
