Controlled Goods Regulations

4 The Minister shall consider the following factors in deciding whether to register a person:

• (a) based on a security assessment, the extent to which the applicant poses a risk of transferring controlled goods to a person who is not registered or exempt from registration;

• (b) whether the application contains all of the information required by section 3;

• (c) whether the applicant has provided the information that may have been requested by the Minister under subsection 38(1) of the Act; and

• (d) whether any information provided by an applicant is false or misleading.
