Controlled Goods Regulations

20 In considering an application for exemption and any security assessments, the Minister shall consider the following factors in deciding whether to exempt an individual under these Regulations:

• (a) the extent to which the proposed temporary worker or visitor poses a risk of transferring controlled goods to a person who is not registered or exempt from registration;

• (b) whether the application contains all of the information required by section 18;

• (c) whether the registered person making the application has provided all of the information requested by the Minister under subsection 39.1(1) of the Act; and

• (d) whether the information provided in the application is false or misleading.
