Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, pursuant to the definition Minister in section 2 of the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation ActFootnote ^a,

(a) repeals Order in Council P.C. 2006-82 of February 6, 2006Footnote ^b; and
(b) designates the Minister of Families, Children and Social Development, a member of the Queen’s Privy Council for Canada, to be the Minister for the purposes of that Act.
