Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, pursuant to subsection 23(1) of the Public Service Employment ActFootnote a, hereby designates the Minister of Canadian Heritage for the purposes of section 23 of that Act, effective December 31, 2005.
