Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, pursuant to section 2 of the Physical Activity and Sport ActFootnote a, hereby designates, effective June 15, 2003:

(a) the Minister of Health, a member of the Queen’s Privy Council for Canada, as the Minister for the purposes of that Act in respect of physical activity; and
(b) the Minister of Canadian Heritage, a member of the Queen’s Privy Council for Canada, as the Minister for the purposes of that Act in respect of sport.
