Version of section C.04.417 from 2006-03-22 to 2006-12-13:
C.04.417 (1) All blood for human plasma shall be collected from a donor
(a) by a practitioner; or
(b) under the supervision of a practitioner, by a person trained in the procedure of blood collection.
(2) The human plasma shall, immediately after each blood collection, be separated from the red blood cells.
(3) Sodium Chloride for injection, when used to return blood cell suspension to a donor, shall be obtained from a previously unused container.
