  • Retroactive effect of regulations

    16 For the purpose of implementing the amendments to the Canada Student Loans Act enacted by this Act, a regulation made pursuant to that Act, as so amended, shall, if it so provides, be retroactive and be deemed to have come into force on a day prior to the day on which the regulation was made, which prior day may not be before the day on which this Act is assented to.
