Whereas the Governor General in Council is of the opinion that part of the cost of providing performances by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Musical Ride should be borne by the sponsors of the Ride.Therefore, Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Solicitor General of Canada and the Treasury Board, pursuant to paragraph 13(b) of the Financial Administration Act, is pleased hereby to authorize the Solicitor General of Canada to prescribe by order the performance fees or charges to be paid by sponsors of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Musical Ride.
