AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTS MARKETING ACTSaskatchewan Egg OrderOrder Granting Authority to Regulate the Marketing in Interprovincial and Export Trade of Eggs Produced in SaskatchewanShort TitleThis Order may be cited as the Saskatchewan Egg Order.InterpretationIn this OrderAct means The Natural Products Marketing Act of Saskatchewan; (Loi)Commodity Board means The Saskatchewan Commercial Egg Producers’ Marketing Board established pursuant to the Act; (Office de commercialisation)eggs means any shell eggs of the domestic hen offered for sale for human consumption and produced in Saskatchewan; (oeufs)Plan means The Saskatchewan Commercial Egg Producers’ Marketing Plan established and amended from time to time pursuant to the Act. (Plan)Interprovincial and Export TradeThe Commodity Board is authorized to regulate the marketing of eggs in interprovincial and export trade and for such purposes may, with respect to persons and property situated within the Province of Saskatchewan, exercise all or any powers like the powers exercisable by it in relation to the marketing of eggs locally within that Province under the Act and the Plan.LeviesThe Commodity Board is authorized,[Revoked, SOR/80-90]in relation to the powers granted to it under section 3 with respect to the marketing of eggs in interprovincial and export trade,to fix, impose and collect levies or charges from persons referred to in section 3 who are engaged in the marketing of eggs, and for such purpose to classify such persons into groups and fix the levies or charges payable by the members of the different groups in different amounts, to use such levies or charges for its purposes, including the creation of reserves, the payment of expenses and losses resulting from the sale or disposal of eggs, and the equalization or adjustment among producers of eggs of moneys realized from the sale thereof during such period or periods of time as it may determine.SOR/80-90
