Regulations Prescribing the Fees To Be Paid for the Use of Royal Canadian Mounted Police Forensic Laboratory Services

His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Solicitor General of Canada and the Treasury Board, pursuant to paragraph 19(1)(a)Footnote * of the Financial Administration Act, is pleased hereby to make the annexed Regulations prescribing the fees to be paid for the use of Royal Canadian Mounted Police Forensic Laboratory Services.

Short Title

 These Regulations may be cited as the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, Forensic Laboratory Services Fees Regulations.

Fee

 The fee to be paid by a person, other than a member of a law enforcement agency, for the use of Royal Canadian Mounted Police forensic laboratory services is

  • (a) $110 for each hour of service provided, or portion thereof; and

  • (b) an amount equal to the travel costs of a person employed by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, determined in accordance with the Travel Directive, c. VI.1 of the Administration Manual of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, where the employee travels in order to provide the forensic laboratory services.
