Order Designating the Office of the Registrar of Lobbyists as a Department and the Registrar as Deputy Head

Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, hereby
(a) pursuant to paragraph (b) of the definition “department” in subsection 2(1) of the Public Service Employment ActFootnote a, designates the Office of the Registrar of Lobbyists as a department for the purposes of that Act, and

(b) pursuant to paragraph (b) of the definition “deputy head” in subsection 2(1) of the Public Service Employment ActFootnote a, designates the Registrar of the Office of the Registrar of Lobbyists as the deputy head of that office for the purposes of that Act,
effective February 6, 2006.
